A simple written letter from your university/school works — letterhead, your name, period, purpose (enrolment certificate, Erasmus agreement, internship letter). Show it on arrival (or send ahead by email).

Absolutely. Submit the booking confirmation to your university, Erasmus coordinator or school as proof. Erasmus+ accommodation allowance or standard PAD daily rates cover your stay with us plus living costs. On top, you automatically receive a proper invoice by e-mail for every payment — ideal for settling costs with your Erasmus coordination, PAD or scholarship provider.

Yes — the whole apartment has 2 separate suites and houses 4 guests. Ideal for two students doing a semester abroad or internship together — each has her own lockable suite; you only share bath/WC/kitchen between you.

For stays longer than 3 days you must register at the Vienna magistrate as “secondary residence” (Nebenwohnsitz) — required by law. With the first rent invoice you receive your pre-filled registration form as a PDF plus a personal service link: you check and sign it, I countersign as your host and send you the finished copy back. Online registration is possible — no office visit needed.

Yes. You can have packages or DHL/Hermes deliveries sent to the address. The building entrance has a keypad lock; small packages can be left in the hallway by the courier.

Cancellation is free within 48 hours of completing the booking (as long as arrival is still at least 40 days away). After that, under the standard rate the first 30 nights are non-refundable, or 60 nights with 10 or fewer days before arrival or no-show — never more than the booking value. After check-in, a notice period of 30 nights to the end of the month applies (bookings under 90 nights) or 60 nights from receipt (90 nights or more) — the rest is refunded automatically. Yes. Felsgasse is in the 11th district Simmering — quiet, family-friendly residential area, no tourist street. Subway station Enkplatz operates day and night. Suites are lockable.

1) You immediately receive the booking confirmation by email, including your personal self-service link. 2) After the 48-hour cooling-off period we send you the pre-filled rental contract plus access to the encrypted verification portal. 3) You sign the contract and upload a photo ID — no later than 48 hours before check-in. 4) At the earliest 36 hours before arrival you receive the access code for self check-in by email. The first rent invoice arrives automatically as a PDF once the cooling-off period has passed.

The ID upload (passport or national ID card) is required by law — the registration duty under § 5 of the Vienna Registration Act — and verifies your identity before the access code is released. You upload a phone photo or PDF via the encrypted verification portal (passport: one side, ID card: front and back). The file is stored AES-256 encrypted on a server in Germany and automatically deleted 30 days after check-out — only a cryptographic checksum remains, from which the image cannot be reconstructed.

You can read the full sample rental contract before booking. After the 48-hour cooling-off period you receive your contract pre-filled with your booking data (incl. terms and privacy policy) as a PDF by email. You sign either electronically (qualified e-signature) or by hand: print, sign, and upload the signed copy as a scan or photo via the verification portal. I countersign and email you the fully executed version. Deadline: within 30 days, and no later than 48 hours before check-in — with staged email reminders.

No. Payment is made in instalments of 30 nights each: the first at booking, the second 7 days before arrival (provided there are at least 21 days between booking and arrival — otherwise it is merged into the first), and further ones every 30 days during your stay — automatically from the card stored at booking, with a reminder e-mail 3 days before each charge. For every instalment you receive a separate PDF invoice by e-mail; the first after the 48-hour cooling-off period. Your exact payment schedule is shown in the summary before you book.

At the earliest 36 hours before check-in, by email — and only once verification (signed rental contract and ID upload) is fully completed. So please finish both steps in good time. With the code you check in around the clock: check-in from 3 pm, check-out by 11 am.

Together with the first rent invoice you receive your pre-filled Meldezettel as a PDF plus a personal service link. You check the details, add the ID-dependent fields and sign. Via the link you upload the signed form — I sign as accommodation provider and send the completed version back to you. The service is voluntary and separate from verification, deadlines and cancellation. Registering a secondary residence is a legal requirement for stays over 3 days.

For stays of 90 nights or more — where offered in the booking form — there is a discounted Flex-Light tariff alongside the standard tariff. In return: outside the 48-hour cooling-off period, the full booking amount remains due in case of cancellation or early departure — no partial refund, no notice period. If your end date is still uncertain (e.g. your internship might be cut short), choose the standard tariff instead. Details in §5e of the Terms.

The maximum stay is 180 nights in a row. A new booking of the same accommodation by the same person is only possible after a 30-day break following check-out — this is a legal requirement (fixed-term residential letting) and applies without exception. So plan your stay with the full duration you need from the start.
