Furnished student apartment in Vienna — for a semester or longer

Erasmus, semester abroad, language course or mandatory internship: Felsgasse Suiten are furnished private suites in Vienna's Simmering district, made for stays of one to six months. You move straight in — bed, desk, fast Wi-Fi and a fully equipped kitchen are all there. No furniture to buy, no agency fee, no three-month deposit like the usual Vienna rental market.

From the U3 metro station Enkplatz (2 minutes' walk) you reach the University of Vienna, WU, TU and the universities of applied sciences in 15–30 minutes without changing lines. You book directly with me as your host — no platform commission — I help with the city registration (Meldezettel) and am personally reachable for your questions.

Fast Wi-Fi up to 229 Mbit/s

For online lectures, thesis writing, applications, video calls with your home university or school. Speed-tested and stable.

24/7 self check-in

Arrive any time via keypad lock — whether your train from Germany arrives at 10 pm or Sunday at 6 am.

Help with registration

Pre-filled registration form (PDF) right after booking. I'll explain how to register at the Vienna magistrate as secondary residence — whether for Erasmus, regular studies or internship.

2 min to subway (U3)

Your internship site is reachable in 15-30 min by subway — whether kindergarten in the city centre or care home in the outer districts.

Fully equipped kitchen

Cook like at home — saves ~€400/month vs. cafeteria/restaurants. Dishwasher, oven, espresso, fridge.

Parent-approved safety

Lockable private suite, quiet residential area, personal landlord. Arguments to convince your parents — whether for first semester abroad or mandatory internship.

No agent fee, no deposit

Unlike Vienna's regular rental market: no 3-month deposit, no agent. Secure payment via Stripe — Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay.

Travel with a fellow student

Coming with a study buddy? Book the whole apartment (90 m², 2 separate lockable suites) — cheaper than two single rooms and full privacy.

Frequently asked questions
from students & interns.

What is the minimum stay to qualify for the discount?

At least 31 nights. This fits almost every semester abroad, Erasmus stay, and mandatory internship in pedagogical training or studies.

What confirmation do I need from my university or school?

A simple written letter from your university/school works — letterhead, your name, period, purpose (enrolment certificate, Erasmus agreement, internship letter). Show it on arrival (or send ahead by email).

Can I use Erasmus+, PAD or other funding?

Absolutely. Submit the booking confirmation to your university, Erasmus coordinator or school as proof. Erasmus+ accommodation allowance or standard PAD daily rates cover your stay with us plus living costs.

Can two or three of us book together?

Yes — the whole apartment has 2 separate suites and houses 4 guests. Ideal for two students doing a semester abroad or internship together — each has her own lockable suite; you only share bath/WC/kitchen between you.

How does Vienna's secondary-residence registration work?

For stays longer than 3 days you must register at the Vienna magistrate as “secondary residence” (Nebenwohnsitz) — required by law. I'll give you a pre-filled form as PDF after booking. You sign, I confirm as host, done. Online registration is possible — no office visit needed.

Can I receive packages?

Yes. You can have packages or DHL/Hermes deliveries sent to the address. The building entrance has a keypad lock; small packages can be left in the hallway by the courier.

What if my internship gets cut short?

Cancellation before check-in is free within 48 hours of booking (and at least 40 days before arrival). After that a graduated fee of 30/60/90 nights applies depending on lead time. After check-in a 90-night notice period applies — for a 6-month booking with early departure after 1 month, you forfeit the next 3 months but get the rest refunded. Details in our terms.

Is the area safe (for young women)?

Yes. Felsgasse is in the 11th district Simmering — quiet, family-friendly residential area, no tourist street. Subway station Enkplatz operates day and night. No incidents in recent years. Suites are lockable.

Can universities or schools enquire for multiple students at once?

Very gladly — write to hello@felsgasse.com with subject 'university/school cooperation'. Special arrangements for recurring Erasmus or internship groups are possible.
